Hello! I am Miss Jenn. I am very excited to be a part of the Children Central family. I joined in March, 2019, as a teacher in the Toddler Two class. I have earned an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Bucks County Community College. I am proud to say that I am now currently working towards my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
I have been teaching children since I was 16. In high school, I enjoyed the unique opportunities to be both a high school helper and also assist in running a nursery school out of Pennsbury. I am forever grateful for those opportunities because that is when I knew I was meant to be a teacher! Before joining Children Central, I have been a teacher in the preschool class, toddlers, before and after care, as well as a summer camp counselor! I bring a lot of experience with me to your child’s class, as I am very excited to teach our class of two year old children.
One of my favorite things about teaching is when I am teaching a child something new and they finally get the concept, and you see the ‘lightbulb go off in their head.’ I am eager to make a difference in the world by teaching little ones new things every day! I love working with children because they represent hope and the future to me.
When I am not teaching or studying at school, I love to travel and go on tons of adventures as much as I can. I used to live in Florida, which is a second home to me. During the spring, I coach a soccer team and also volunteer for a baseball league. I am a very outgoing, hardworking, and energetic person.
Being a teacher is one of the most exhausting, but definitely the most REWARDING job there is, and I would not want to be anything else. If you have any questions, concerns, or special requests, please do not be afraid to ask! I am excited to get to know everyone!
Hello, I am Miss Chelsea. I became a teacher in the Toddler Two class as of July, 2019. I am super excited to have the opportunity to teach your children!
I have been in the child care field for 13 years. My first experience was helping my mom and aunt with their in-home daycare. Ever since then, I knew teaching is what I wanted to do. For the past 10 years, I have gained good teaching experience, having taught all age groups in various child care centers.
Teaching children is what I enjoy doing and plan to do for my career. For me, it is so rewarding to see a child’s face light up when a new skill is learned. This is a very positive feeling that keeps me going daily with the drive to become the best teacher I can be.
I graduated Neshaminy High School, and while attending, I was in the early childhood education program. It was a wonderful opportunity to be able to go to school and simultaneously be able to teach children, while they also were teaching me. I am looking forward to pursuing a CDA, (Child Development Associates) credential. I would love to advance my education further by earning an Associate’s degree in early childhood education.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, as we enjoy going to the beach and just having fun together.
I look forward getting to know the families well, as I enjoy teaching your children.
