The Top Choice in Child Care, Infant Day Care, Toddler, Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, After-School Serving Langhorne and Yardley, and the Surrounding Communities

Keystone STARS rates child care programs from one to four STARS on things you care about (meets state regulations for safety, offers a kid-friendly atmosphere with good teachers that partner with you to help your child learn) so you can find the program that feels right for your family. Keystone STARS provides early childhood programs in Pennsylvania with the tools to continually improve service to children and families. Through the Keystone STARS program and the STARS rating system, families know that as programs earn more STARS, they are providing higher quality early education for their child. Children Central has earned four stars, so parents can rest assured knowing their child is attending an early learning program that has earned the highest rating possible to achieve in PA.

We utilize the well-known High Reach curriculum, which is aligned with the PA early learning standards.  High Reach is one of a few select curriculum approved by the Keystone STARS organization. What this means is that in every classroom, the children are learning what their age group is expected to know and a whole lot more, as we have very high expectations for our students and teachers!  You will see the weekly lesson plan posted in every classroom.

Keystone StarsOther preschools may ‘claim’ many things about their curriculum and staff during a tour, and especially on social media. The difference at Children Central is that our school curriculum, the degrees in education earned by our teachers, teacher training hours, and our high quality learning environment, are all personally verified by the Keystone STARS organization.

Why should you select our daycare over others in Langhorne and Yardley, PA ?

Children Central Child Care / Learning Center is the ‘BEST VALUE’ in the Langhorne / Yardley area for preschool, day care or child care. This means that families appreciate the very high quality care and learning, with so much included.

To state it simply: our families know they are getting a great deal for their tuition. We are not the lowest tuition, or the most expensive in the area (why pay more?), as we are considered the best value because of all we offer as a top Langhorne daycare.

What We Are Doing to Help Protect our Families and Staff During Covid-19

Adults are not permitted to enter the school

  • Temperature checks for children before entering school building
  • Teachers will wear masks
  • Disinfecting, sanitizing, and washing of hands for both teachers and children will occur constantly throughout the day.

If a child is found to have a temperature of 100.4F or higher, his/her parent/guardian will be called to have the child picked up.

  • Will do our best to keep specific groups of children together at all times with their primary teacher.

Per DHS/CDC recommendations, toys and other items that children play with in the room that may be difficult to keep clean/sterilized (i.e. stuffed animals, dress up clothes), will be put away.

  • Per CDC guidelines, "ideally, the same parent or designated person should drop off and pick up the child every day.
