Meet Miss Barbara!
Hi! My name is Miss Barbara, and I am the Lead Teacher in the Toddler classroom. I started teaching at Children Central in 2022. I have been working with children for over 25 years and have earned a CDA (Child Development Associate) credential. I plan to study for a degree in Early Childhood Education.
I love teaching because you get to see the world through a child’s eyes. Watching our little ones grow and learn is wonderful! It is so rewarding to see them explore and learn new things each and every day! As the Lead Teacher, I encourage learning in a safe and nurturing environment.
When not working, I like spending time with family and friends. My husband (Mark), our son (Justin) and I enjoy camping in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. I like swimming, boating, and the Ocean City boardwalk. Other fun hobbies are arts and crafts, making soy candles, taking photos, and just being creative!
I enjoy getting to know all of the families here at Children Central and being a part of our family of teachers!
Meet Miss Megan!
My name is Miss Megan. I began my teaching career at Children Central in September 2016. I started as a teacher in the Toddler Room and then became a Floater/Assistant Teacher to gain more experience in the other classrooms. I was very happy to return to the Toddler Room, as I enjoy teaching this class full of energetic, cute and eager to learn one year olds!
I love to teach young children. I especially enjoy reading to the class, singing, and getting on the floor and interacting with our one-year-old children. I will help get your child prepared for our Toddler Two class, which is the next class for when they turn two years of age.
Personally, I love spending quality time with my young cousins. My family and I like to go camping and try out various campgrounds. One day I hope to do more traveling across the United States. I am also a typical girl that likes to go shopping. Some of my favorite pastimes are listening to music and playing video games.
If I do not know you already, I look forward to getting to know all of the Toddler families and to teaching and caring for your child.
Meet Miss Henda!
My name is Miss Henda. I am very excited to become a teacher in the Toddler classroom and join the Children Central family as of January, 2023.
I have earned a Bachelor’s degree in technician management computing. I am soon planning to obtain a CDA (Child Development Associate) credential. In addition to English, I speak multiple languages (Arabic, French and Turkish)!
Having grown up in a large family, I enjoy being around kids and I will care for each child as if they were my own. In fact, my daughter Miray attends school with me each day here, as I am very happy that she can benefit from the high-quality early learning education at Children Central.
I am excited to teach new things each day to the children in the Toddler classroom. My method is to both educate and entertain. I love engaging our little ones in fun learning activities, such as reading books and stories, teaching colors, shapes, numbers, singing, dancing, arts and crafts, and sensory play. It is important to provide loving care for children within a fun and enriched environment, while making sure to meet developmental and educational goals for each child.
When not working, I like spending time with family and friends. I especially enjoy cooking and swimming.
I am an enthusiastic and responsible person and look forward to teaching the children in the Toddler classroom and getting to know everyone!
