Meet Miss Jolie!
Hi! My name is Miss Jolie and I have been teaching for 27 years. I started at Children Central in 2009, where I work with the young toddlers (ages 12-23 months). My love and passion for children, especially infants and toddlers, has made me into the well rounded teacher that I am today. Children Central has provided me with an environment where I can nurture and continue to grow professionally and provide the love that is essential for the children who are in my care. Working at Children Central gave me the initiative to pursue my CDA (Child Development Associates) credential, which I obtained in February 2011.
In addition to my professional profile, personally, I am a mother of two wonderful children, Derek who is 23 and Megan who is 19, as well as a wife to my husband Dave, to whom I have been married to for 25 years. I love spending time with my family and friends for they are the daily love and support in my life. Moreover, my family and I love to travel. We enjoy quality family time together. Camping and spending a day at the beach is what we enjoy most. Some favorite pastimes of mine are reading, jigsaw puzzles and shopping.
I have gained many positive and fulfilling experiences here at Children Central for it is a family owned business with excellent standards, as well as an experienced staff. The relationships I have built here will last a life time.
Meet Miss Megan!
Hi! My name is Miss Megan. I began my teaching career at Children Central in September, 2016. I started as a teacher in the Toddler Room and then became a Floater/Assistant Teacher to gain more experience in the other classrooms. I am very happy to return to the Toddler Room where I already know the children and most of the families.
I am currently working on furthering my education, as I am currently studying to earn my CDA (Child Development Associates) credential. I love to teach young children. I especially enjoy reading to the class, singing, and getting on the floor and interacting with our one year old children. I will help get your child prepared for our Toddler Two class, which is the next class for when they turn two years of age.
Personally, I love spending quality time with my young cousins. My family and I like to go camping and try out various campgrounds. One day I hope to do more traveling across the United States. I am also a typical girl that likes to go shopping. Some of my favorite pastimes are listening to music and playing video games.
If I do not know you already, I look forward to getting to know all of the Toddler families and to teaching and caring for your child.
Meet Miss Henda!
My name is Miss Henda. I am very excited to become a teacher in the Toddler classroom and join the Children Central family as of January, 2023.
I have earned a Bachelor’s degree in technician management computing. I am soon planning to obtain a CDA (Child Development Associate) credential. In addition to English, I speak multiple languages (Arabic, French and Turkish)!
Having grown up in a large family, I enjoy being around kids and I will care for each child as if they are my own. In fact, my daughter Miray will attend school with me each day, as I am very happy that she can benefit from the high quality early learning education at Children Central.
I am excited to teach new things each day to the children in the Toddler class. My method is to both educate and entertain. I love engaging our little ones in fun learning activities, such as reading books and stories, teaching colors, shapes, numbers, singing, dancing, arts and crafts, and sensory play. It is important to provide loving care for children within a fun and enriched environment, while making sure to meet developmental and educational goals for each child.
When not working, I like spending time with family and friends. I especially enjoy cooking and swimming.
I am an enthusiastic and responsible person and look forward to teaching the children in the Toddler classroom and to getting to know their families!
