I am known as Miss Jolie and I have been teaching for 27 years. I started at Children Central in 2009, where I work with the young toddlers (ages 12-23 months). My love and passion for children, especially infants and toddlers, has made me into the well rounded teacher that I am today. Children Central has provided me with an environment where I can nurture and continue to grow professionally and provide the love that is essential for the children who are in my care. Working at Children Central gave me the initiative to pursue my CDA (Child Development Associates) credential, which I obtained in February 2011.
In addition to my professional profile, personally, I am a mother of two wonderful children, Derek who is 23 and Megan who is 19, as well as a wife to my husband Dave, to whom I have been married to for 25 years. I love spending time with my family and friends for they are the daily love and support in my life. Moreover, my family and I love to travel. We enjoy quality family time together. Camping and spending a day at the beach is what we enjoy most. Some favorite pastimes of mine are reading, jigsaw puzzles and shopping.
I have gained many positive and fulfilling experiences here at Children Central for it is a family owned business with excellent standards, as well as an experienced staff. The relationships I have built here will last a life time.
My name is Miss Megan. I began my teaching career at Children Central in September, 2016. I started as a teacher in the Toddler Room and then became a Floater/Assistant Teacher to gain more experience in the other classrooms. I am very happy to return to the Toddler Room where I already know the children and most of the families.
I am currently working on furthering my education, as I am currently studying to earn my CDA (Child Development Associates) credential. I love to teach young children. I especially enjoy reading to the class, singing, and getting on the floor and interacting with our one year old children. I will help get your child prepared for our Toddler Two class, which is the next class for when they turn two years of age.
Personally, I love spending quality time with my young cousins. My family and I like to go camping and try out various campgrounds. One day I hope to do more traveling across the United States. I am also a typical girl that likes to go shopping. Some of my favorite pastimes are listening to music and playing video games.
If I do not know you already, I look forward to getting to know all of the Toddler families and to teaching and caring for your child.
Hi! My name is Miss Gina and I joined Children Central as a Toddler Teacher in November of 2019.
My experience with children in a school setting goes back to 2002; with my first position as an Infant Teacher in a child care center. From there, I continued working in various preschools as a teacher for Infant, Young Toddlers, and Older Toddlers. I look forward to earning my CDA (Child Development Associates) credential in the near future to further my education and to benefit the children.
My love for children has been lifelong and toddlers have been where my heart is. Their personalities are really beginning to show and they cannot be any more adorable. I look forward to drawing out the sense of wonder and imagination from your child. I will help them to see their world in a no-boundaries sort of way; where they can explore their surroundings on a higher level to encourage open-mindedness in a safe and productive way.
I am a mom to a son Nick, 26, and daughter Abby, 13, with our dog Sasha. My husband and I have recently separated but remain close friends.
I enjoy my time with family & friends, spending time outdoors, cooking from scratch, running, shooting hoops, ice skating, and swimming. I love to be with children including my nieces and nephews and friend’s children.
Thank you for allowing me the pleasure of helping your child to grow and learn.
Hello Children Central families! My name is Miss Stephanie and I am happy to be joining this team of talented and dedicated staff and teachers as of November, 2019.
During the summers while in college, I started working in child care centers. After graduating from Ursinus College in 2001, I joined Early Intervention in Philadelphia. I was a Special Instructor for 16 years, as I enjoyed working with children from birth to three year olds. During this time, I developed and implemented goals for children and their families. I was also able to co-lead a parent child group to help children socialize and prepare for preschool. I have been and always will be dedicated to helping children reach their goals.
“It takes a village to raise a child”, has always been a favorite saying of mine. Family has a unique role in shaping our lives, but so do the people we meet along the way, including their teachers. Helping children grow, and develop new skills, has always been an amazing feat to achieve for me as a teacher. Watching first steps, hearing new words and understanding new concepts are everyday blessings, as there is always something new to learn.
A bit about me. My family includes my husband Eric and my two boys Danny (10) and Jason (6). We have two cats Elvis and Jingles. In the past, I have participated on teams such as basketball, softball and darts. I was a campfire girl (like Girl Scouts). I would love to travel more. In college I spent 3 weeks in France for an art history class and on my honeymoon we took a tour of England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales.
I look forward to getting to know you and all of the children in Toddlers!
