I am known as Miss Jolie and I have been teaching for 27 years. I started at Children Central in 2009, where I work with the young toddlers (ages 12-23 months). My love and passion for children, especially infants and toddlers, has made me into the well rounded teacher that I am today. Children Central has provided me with an environment where I can nurture and continue to grow professionally and provide the love that is essential for the children who are in my care. Working at Children Central gave me the initiative to pursue my CDA (Child Development Associates) credential, which I obtained in February 2011.
In addition to my professional profile, personally, I am a mother of two wonderful children, Derek who is 23 and Megan who is 19, as well as a wife to my husband Dave, to whom I have been married to for 25 years. I love spending time with my family and friends for they are the daily love and support in my life. Moreover, my family and I love to travel. We enjoy quality family time together. Camping and spending a day at the beach is what we enjoy most. Some favorite pastimes of mine are reading, jigsaw puzzles and shopping.
I have gained many positive and fulfilling experiences here at Children Central for it is a family owned business with excellent standards, as well as an experienced staff. The relationships I have built here will last a life time.
Hello Toddler families! My name is Miss Amanda and I joined the Children Central team in October, 2017. I may have met some of you, since I started out supervising the school age children in the After School program, and then became a full-time teacher in the Preschool and Pre-K classrooms. I am now very excited to have become your child’s teacher in the Toddler Room.
I have earned my Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Pre-K to 4 from Bucks County Community College in 2014. I have always known that I love working with children of all ages. When I was younger, I enjoyed babysitting. While earning my degree, I did part of my fieldwork at Goodnoe Elementary School. During my time there, I formed a close connection with the children that made me absolutely certain that teaching children was something I wanted to do in my career.
I have one daughter Emma who is two years old. She is my whole life. I would do anything for her and love spending time together. Children are my life and I cannot wait until I meet yours!!
My name is Miss Megan. I began my teaching career at Children Central in September, 2016. I started as a teacher in the Toddler Room and then became a Floater/Assistant Teacher to gain more experience in the other classrooms. I am very happy to return to the Toddler Room where I already know the children and most of the families.
I am currently working on furthering my education, as I am currently studying to earn my CDA (Child Development Associates) credential. I love to teach young children. I especially enjoy reading to the class, singing, and getting on the floor and interacting with our one year old children. I will help get your child prepared for our Toddler Two class, which is the next class for when they turn two years of age.
Personally, I love spending quality time with my young cousins. My family and I like to go camping and try out various campgrounds. One day I hope to do more traveling across the United States. I am also a typical girl that likes to go shopping. Some of my favorite pastimes are listening to music and playing video games.
If I do not know you already, I look forward to getting to know all of the Toddler families and to teaching and caring for your child.
Hello Toddler families! My name is Miss Anna and I became a teacher in the Toddler Room as of May, 2019. I am glad to introduce myself and let you know a few things about me, your child’s teacher.
I was adopted from Russia when I was two years old and have been in the United States for 25 years. I lived in Philadelphia most of my life and recently moved to Levittown. I have enjoyed working with children since I attended Jenkintown High School. During this time, I was a second grade Teacher’s Aide at Jenkintown Elementary School for three years. I then attended Montgomery County Community College and transferred to Philadelphia Community College. I am proud to say that I now have only two class left to earn an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education. While studying for this degree, I was a teacher for two years at a child care center in Maple Glen. I then took a semester off and travelled around Europe for four months. I have previously worked in other child care centers, including a parent infant center located in Philadelphia, where I taught four years olds and in the After School Program.
All of my previous experiences as a teacher have helped me to understand that I enjoy working with young children, and that I especially love the toddler age group. One year olds have so much positivity and a joyous attitude. They love learning and have a tremendous ability and curiosity to learn new things. I look forward to teaching our toddlers so many of the fun and interesting things that a one year old should learn.
During my free time, I enjoy going to the beach and spending time traveling and with family. Thank you for this opportunity to teach your child. I will help your child learn and develop new skills. I look forward to working together to achieve the class learning goals, and help each child get well prepared for the Toddler Two class.
