Meet Miss Edivia!
Hi. My name is Miss Edivia. I have been a part of the Children Central family since August, 2014. I have been in the education field for approximately 20 years, which includes my being a teacher to the physically, mentally and emotionally challenged. I truly have a passion for teaching and caring for children. I earned a Child Development Associates credential (CDA) in 2010 at Manor College. Helping and watching children learn and grow to their fullest potential gives me great satisfaction and pride in my work.
I have been a Floater Teacher at Children Central since 2014, as I love to work with all of our age groups! You may find me helping out in any of the classrooms from Infants to Pre-Kindergarten, and even filling in as the chef when Mr. Dave goes on vacation. I added ‘Spanish Teacher’ to my accomplishments at Children Central, as I usually teach the Preschool and Pre-K classrooms Spanish on Tuesday mornings. I am fluent in both Spanish and English. Knowing two languages is extremely rewarding. It enables me to have the privilege of communicating with so many more people.
I studied and lived in Puerto Rico, where I was able to learn how to speak and write Spanish. I attended school, which gave me the chance to learn a second language. This opportunity helps me to empathize with the children, as I know what it is like to learn a new language and how fun and rewarding it can be! I always enjoy teaching the children Spanish in a fun and entertaining way. I utilize puppets, songs, games, and dancing to make the learning interactive, and a very enjoyable learning experience for your children.
I have two children of my own and a wonderful husband, and have lived in the city of Levittown, PA. for most of my life. I did also live on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico with my parents and siblings for several years. I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, and going to the beach and Sesame Place with my youngest child. I also enjoy cutting hair; I am a licensed Cosmetologist. I love being a teacher at Children Central, and am always excited to meet the new children and their families every year.
Meet Miss Paige!
Hello Everyone! My name is Miss Paige. I am so happy to have joined Children Central, which is a great place to be a teacher! I started in January, 2021 as a Preschool teacher. As of April, I requested to become a Floater Teacher since the flexibility will better fit my schedule, as I am also attending school.
As a Floater Teacher, I assist in all of the classrooms throughout the day. I am extremely excited to help your children grow by providing care, aiding in lessons, reading books, and adding to their fun and education in every way I can.
I am currently earning my Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education for Pre-K to 4 at Bucks County Community College. I look forward to teaching kindness, patience, and fulfilling the sense of wonder in your child. It is extremely important to make learning fun for our children, as I plan to teach the academic and social skills necessary to assist each child in their positive development. I will also gladly work with the children on how to behave in a learning environment. I like to incorporate Art and Movement, which are important and fun for the children.
A little bit about me. I have a beautiful baby girl named Eliana. I am originally from Maryland and moved to Pennsylvania when I was 22 years old. I love the beach and going shopping with friends and family. I plan to transfer to a university program, after I have completed my Associate’s degree. I hope to eventually become an elementary school teacher in the Bucks County area. Some of my favorite things include coffee and Italian food!
The relationship with each child and their family is very important to me, as I help the children succeed in our educational program!
Meet Miss Vicky!
Hi! My name is Miss Vicky. I am so happy and excited to join the Children Central family as a Floater Teacher. Having started in September 2022, you may find me assisting in any of the classrooms from Infant to Pre-K. I really enjoy spending time with the children of all ages attending Children Central.
I am a mother of two boys, a 5-year old and a 13-year old, named Liam and Eason, respectively. (Yes, they sound like the famous actor Liam Neeson, and that is how I tell people to remember their name). I graduated from Northeastern University with a BS degree in Leadership and Business. I also possess a Certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (CTCSOL), which is an international standardized test to assess candidates as Chinese language teachers internationally.
My family and I moved back to the United States two years ago from Singapore due to my husband’s job. We are incredibly happy with our new home here in Langhorne. We have neighbors with young kids and I get along very well with them. I love being with children, playing with them and taking care of them. I will treat your children as my own because every child is a precious gift. I am currently a singer of a musical band Peace Jam serving Parkland Church. Singing is my favorite hobby!
I am so thankful that Children Central gave me the opportunity to work with young children. I am looking forward to meeting all of the children and families at Children Central!
