Meet Miss Edivia!
Hi. My name is Miss Edivia. I have been a part of the Children Central family since August 2014. I have been in the education field for approximately 20 years, which includes my being a teacher to the physically, mentally, and emotionally challenged. I truly have a passion for teaching and caring for children. I earned a Child Development Associates credential (CDA) in 2010 at Manor College. Helping and watching children learn and grow to their fullest potential gives me great satisfaction and pride in my work.
I have been a Floater Teacher at Children Central since 2014, as I love to work with all of our age groups! You may find me helping in any of the classrooms from Infants to Pre-Kindergarten, and even filling in as the chef when Mr. Dave goes on vacation. I added ‘Spanish Teacher’ to my accomplishments at Children Central, as I usually teach the Twaddlers, Preschool and Pre-K classrooms Spanish on Tuesday mornings. I am fluent in both Spanish and English. Knowing two languages is extremely rewarding, it enables me to have the privilege of communicating with so many more people.
I studied and lived in Puerto Rico, where I was able to learn how to speak and write Spanish. I attended school, which gave me the chance to learn a second language. This opportunity helps me to empathize with the children, as I know what it is like to learn a new language and how fun and rewarding it can be! I always enjoy teaching the children Spanish in a fun and entertaining way. I utilize puppets, songs, games, and dancing to make the learning interactive, and a very enjoyable learning experience for your children.
I have two children of my own and a wonderful husband, and have lived in the city of Levittown, PA. for most of my life. I did also live on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico with my parents and siblings for several years. I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, and going to the beach and Sesame Place with my youngest child and grandchildren. I also enjoy cutting hair; I am a licensed Cosmetologist. I love being a teacher at Children Central and am always excited to meet the new children and their families every year.

Meet Miss Ashley!
Hi, I am Miss Ashley! I am so excited to be working at Children Central as of March 2023. I will mainly be assisting in Cub Camp/Pre-K, but I may also help out in whichever classroom I may be needed.
I have always loved children! When I was 13, I started babysitting and when I was 16, I began volunteering at a local childcare center. I have experience working with children of all ages.
I just completed my freshman year at Elizabethtown College. While I have not yet declared a major, I am very interested in the law enforcement and judicial system.
