Meet Miss Edivia!
Hi! My name is Miss Edivia. I am so happy to have joined the Children Central family as the After-Care teacher, and as a ‘floater.’ You will see me driving the school van to pick-up the children who will join my After-Care program for elementary age students, as I help them with their homework and do fun, learning activities with the class. You may also find me helping out in any of the classrooms from Infant to Pre-K at other times of the day.
I have been in the education field for 17 years, which includes my being a teacher to the physically, mentally and emotionally challenged. I truly have a passion for teaching and caring for children. I earned a Child Development Associates credential (CDA) in 2010 at Manor College. Helping and watching children learn and grow to their fullest potential gives me great satisfaction and pride in my work.
I have two children of my own and a wonderful husband, and have lived in the city of Levittown, PA. for most of my life. I did also live on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico with my parents and siblings for several years and attended school, which gave me the opportunity to learn a second language. I am Bi-lingual in Spanish and English. Knowing two languages is very rewarding; it enables me to have the privilege of communicating with so many more people.
I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, and going to the beach and Sesame Place with my youngest child. I also enjoy cutting hair; I am a licensed Cosmetologist. I am very eager and excited to embark on my new journey at Children Central, and am excited as well for my daughter who will join the After-School program.
Meet Miss Paige K!
Hi! My name is Miss Paige. I am so happy to have joined Children Central, which is a great place to be a teacher! I started in January, 2021 as a Preschool teacher. As of April, I requested to become a Floater Teacher since the flexibility will better fit my schedule, as I am also attending school.
As a Floater Teacher, I assist in all of the classrooms throughout the day. I am extremely excited to help your children grow by providing care, aiding in lessons, reading books, and adding to their fun and education in every way I can. I am currently earning my Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education for Pre-K to 4 at Bucks County Community College. I look forward to teaching kindness, patience, and fulfilling the sense of wonder in your child. It is extremely important to make learning fun for our children, as I plan to teach the academic and social skills necessary to assist each child in their positive development. I will also gladly work with the children on how to behave in a learning environment. I like to incorporate Art and Movement, which are important and fun for the children.
A little bit about me. I have a beautiful baby girl named Eliana. I am originally from Maryland and moved to Pennsylvania when I was 22 years old. I love the beach and going shopping with friends and family. I plan to transfer to a university program, after I have completed my Associate’s degree. I hope to eventually become an elementary school teacher in the Bucks County area. Some of my favorite things include coffee and Italian food!
The relationship with each child and their family is very important to me, as I help the children succeed in our educational program!

I am excited to help the children learn and grow by assisting our excellent teachers in lessons, reading books, and participating in lots of fun, structured play programs daily.I love to paint and draw with the children and let them get messy and creative!
I am currently a junior at Millersville University majoring in Art Education. I am working hard to pursue my goal of becoming an Art Teacher for ages K-12. I have had a strong passion for art as long as I can remember. Since elementary school, I have enjoyed attending and being a part of the district art shows. I have always had a passion for art and I am excited to be able to share my love for art through teaching. I enjoy drawing, painting, and embroidery!
I am glad to have the opportunity at Children Central to gain experience in childcare and teaching. A little more about me. I have lived in Langhorne my whole life. Aside from enjoying art, I enjoy warm weather and the beach. I love being outside and in the sun. I especially enjoy going fishing with my friends and family.
I am deeply passionate about working with young children and teaching them, to help as much as I can in their learning development. I love positivity and it is rare to ever see me without a smile on my face. I also maintain a strong love for animals, as I have a bichon poodle named Sadie!
I look forward to helping each child have a positive and fun learning experience here at Children Central
Meet Miss Alyssa!
Hi! My name is Miss Alyssa. I am happy to have joined Children Central as a Floater Teacher in September 2021. As a Floater Teacher I would really like to help all the kids learn, develop their skills, and just have fun at school! I look forward to helping out wherever I may be needed, as I gain experience teaching children of all ages throughout Children Central.
In my sophomore year of high school, l I took a child development course, and it was wonderful working with children and getting practice at drafting lesson plans. I found that the challenge with children is getting them to clean up their toys, having them wash hands frequently, and stay seated at a table. I learned that it is extremely important to keep an eye on the kids with everything they do.
I am planning to attend Bucks Community College to earn an Associate’s degree in education. Before I do so, I want to work as much as possible to gain experience to know what it is like being a teacher. Hopefully, next year I will go to college to continue my education as a teacher, as I would like to eventually teach Pre-K or Kindergarten.
I have lived in Langhorne my entire life. I love my family and friends. I am really good with children. I make sure they are having fun, as I supervise them to keep safe. I have enjoyed babysitting previously. Now that I am a Floater Teacher, I value this opportunity to work with children and continue my education to eventually becoming a teacher to young children. Bonding with the children and getting to know them and their families is especially important to me. I look forward to meeting all of the Children Central families.
