We will miss them! Our son started at Children Central as a three month-old infant. His mom and I wanted a school that would nurture him all the way up to Kindergarden, and we found that at CC. Its success begins at the top: owners Sharon and Kevin are knowledgeable, professional, caring, and engaging people. Their positive, how-can-we-help spirit extends to the CC staff. There is a universal sense of goodwill that has pervaded the school throughout our son’s five years.
We’ve also been impressed with the curriculum that exposed our son to a broad range of disciplines and experiences. Thanks to CC, our son has attained basic academic skills that makes him well prepared for Kindergarten. Furthermore, CC works on interpersonal skills. His class is ethnically diverse which we believe is vital to his social development. Also worthy of mention are the electives: our son loved the weekly music and the “Amazing Athletes” programs. CC accommodated our son’s medical needs, as he had to drink from a special cup during most of this time there.
The school was extremely supportive throughout the process. CC is excellent at communications. They use an app and update it frequently. Each day we get pictures of him at school, descriptions of the daily lessons & activities, and updates about his eating and napping. This info allows us to have informed conversations with him at the dinner table, so that we can reinforce his experiences. Children Central is a top-tier daycare & preschool facility that deserves the highest rating possible. We will miss them!
The owners Kevin and Sharon are such nice and humble people. They always listen to the parents, and they always try and help out with any issues that they might be having promptly. The teachers are so good with kids and so trustable. I have only experienced positivity with everyone working there. My daughter has learned so much through them and I cannot thank them enough for giving good guidance and support to my kid. My younger daughter goes there too, and I highly highly recommend this place.
Our boy was in their infant room & toddler room and both classes did an unbelieve job when the world was really going crazy. We started in August of 2020 at the height of COVID and Children Central was great with all their safety procedures and communication. From their teachers to their staff, lunches, updates, technology, pictures, tuition, and early learning program = all are A+ and I wish I could give them more than 5 stars – Thank You
He was not a good eater at the beginning but after I requested teacher to encourage him during lunch time greatly helped him to improve his eating habits. He always liked going to school and he is missing his school and teachers after we moved away from the area. Owner Kevin and all the staffs are very friendly. The entire school is very neat and clean, and they have lots of daily fun activities. Their outside playground is amazing!
There was few turnovers of the staffs lately but that was because some were moving out of state and some started teaching in elementary school like Miss Amanda who is now grade teacher for 2nd graders at Hoover. I think CC is one of best daycares in the area!
Our children both started as infants and stayed through Pre-K when it was time to start Kindergarten. The owners and all of the staff have been absolutely wonderful. I felt confident dropping my kids off each day that they were in a safe environment and being very well cared for. The teachers are all extremely kind and I felt they were invested in my children’s’ wellbeing and education. I highly recommend and encourage anyone to consider Children Central for their childcare and learning needs.
Our oldest attended preschool, Pre K, and camps. He progressed well in Pre K, met all of his benchmarks. Even more, He was very well prepared for the structure, curriculum, socialization, and sheer size of an elementary school building. His transition to kindergarten was seamless. I credit CC largely for preparing him, as to what to expect in a school environment. Our second just Graduated Pre K. He was a Covid toddler, and programmed in home daycare, probably for too long, in an abundance of caution. As I write this, a year ago, he was not potty trained, and his academics were limited. In the past year he has matured greatly in his academics, socialization, following structure and rules. He is very well prepared for Kindergarten. And again I credit CC and their program. Yes they do homework, and grew to expect it.
I think CC strikes a good balance of academics, creativity, hands on learning, and socialization, all during a pandemic. Perfect, no there is no such thing. But I have appreciated their efforts to maintain a safe, reputable, healthy, and friendly environment for our kids to learn and prepare for the next step, kindergarten.
The teachers are fantastic and truly care about the kids. The environment is welcoming and very kid friendly. Our daughter loves going there, and we can tell that she’s really learned a lot. The kids have a well balanced daily routine from their daily learning topics, arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor playtime. They have free meals, and they have a great app to keep you informed of your kid’s activities. I would recommend Children Central to anyone looking for childcare.
