Meet Miss Chrissy!

Hello, my name is Mrs. Chrissy. I became a teacher at Children Central starting in September, 2023.  It was a pleasure helping young minds grow at Children Central during my first school year. I am super excited about my next adventure after having been promoted to Lead Teacher for the Twaddlers, just in time for the summer fun of 2024!

A little about myself.  I was born and raised in the local area most of my life, except for living in Atlanta, Georgia for 7 years. I live with my two daughters 11 & 9, husband, and a pet turtle. I enjoy cooking, fishing, kayaking, the ocean, and anything Disney.

For over 20 years, I have enjoyed teaching in the early education field as I take pride in becoming a part of helping young minds grow. In 2018 I earned an Associate degree in the Art of Early Education from Ashford University. In the future, I would like to continue my education and earn a Bachelor’s degree in early education. Every child learns in their own special way, and I believe in creating an environment that will expand each child’s mind. My goal is to create a positive, caring environment for both my students and their families.

Meet Miss Meredith!

Hello! I am Miss Meredith! I became a teacher at Children Central in April 2025.  I am so excited to have become a part of this amazing family.

My love and passion for childcare started at a very young age when my mom opened a daycare center in Levittown that she previously owned for 16 years. I loved growing up there and eventually working there. I fell back in love with teaching 2.5 years ago when I had my daughter, Lorelei.

A little about me, I was born and raised in this area and went to Pennsbury from 1st grade to the 12th grade. I currently live in Philly, and I love going to baseball games on the weekends. I enjoy hiking with my daughter, camping and fishing. I love the ocean and have my scuba license!  One of my biggest goals in life is to become friends with an octopus. I also have two younger sisters and two nieces. I love getting together with them on the holidays since they live a distance away.

I am so excited to get to know all the children and their families. I look forward to learning the different personalities that make Children Central the amazing family that it is. Thank you for welcoming me with open arms. I am so excited to be here!!

Meet Mr. Almir!

Hi!  My name is Mr. Almir.  I started teaching at Children Central in September, 2024. I started out in the Twaddler classroom as an Assistant Teacher and have also assisted in the Preschool and Pre-K classrooms.  I have enjoyed teaching in all of these classrooms very much!  I have been working in the childcare field since I was 16 years old. I began as a camp counselor, and then during my junior and senior years of high school I was a classroom assistant for my local elementary school.

I am currently enrolled at Montgomery County Community College where I am pursuing an Associate’s degree in early childhood education. After I obtain my degree, I plan to further my education at a 4-year college to obtain a Bachelor’s degree.

What I love most about working with children each day is building a special bond with every child in my class. They each have their own personalities that I enjoy getting to know throughout the year!

In my free time you can find me riding bikes and reading a good fantasy novel. I also love Philadelphia sports, especially the Eagles and Sixers. I am so excited to be a part of the Children Central family and to have the opportunity to get to know all of the children and their families.
