Hi! My name is Miss Barbara, and I am the Lead Teacher in the Toddler classroom. I started teaching at Children Central in 2022. I have been working with children for over 25 years and have earned a CDA (Child Development Associate) credential. I plan to study for a degree in Early Childhood Education.
I love teaching because you get to see the world through a child’s eyes. Watching our little ones grow and learn is wonderful! It is so rewarding to see them explore and learn new things each and every day! As the Lead Teacher, I encourage learning in a safe and nurturing environment.
When not working, I like spending time with family and friends. My husband (Mark), our son (Justin) and I enjoy camping in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. I like swimming, boating, and the Ocean City boardwalk. Other fun hobbies are arts and crafts, making soy candles, taking photos, and just being creative!
I enjoy getting to know all of the families here at Children Central and being a part of our family of teachers!
Hi! My name is Miss Kim and I am so excited about my new beginning with Children Central, as of July 2023! I started at Children Central in the Toddler Two classroom. This prior experience has provided me with a good understanding of what to teach the Toddlers, so that they are well prepared to graduate to the next class, which is the Toddler Two classroom. I love teaching the one year olds of our Toddlers class! I enjoy teaching them in a very fun and entertaining way daily. I want each child to look forward to coming to my class every morning knowing they will have a fun day of learning together.
Prior to childcare, my previous work history was in administration and hospitality. My teaching career began in 2021 and it has opened my eyes and my heart so wide ever since! Working with children has become such a passion of mine and I could never imagine spending my life doing anything else now. I plan to work on obtaining my CDA (Child Development Associates) credential and further my education by working on an Early Childhood Education degree in the future.
I have a son, John, who loves to attend school with me each day at Children Central! In my spare time I am always finding new places and spaces to explore with John, as we are always trying to spend as much free time with the rest of our family as we can. John and I are a duo that is constantly on the move so you may see us zipping around town on the weekends! John also began playing soccer and we are both super excited about that!
I am looking forward to meeting all the kiddos and their families here at Children Central. I am even more excited about getting the chance to interact and make special memories with all of the students that I will be working with in Toddlers to get them well prepared for the Toddler Two class!
My name is Miss Henda. I am very excited to become a teacher in the Toddler classroom and join the Children Central family as of January, 2023.
I have earned a Bachelor’s degree in technician management computing. I am soon planning to obtain a CDA (Child Development Associate) credential. In addition to English, I speak multiple languages (Arabic, French and Turkish)!
Having grown up in a large family, I enjoy being around kids and I will care for each child as if they were my own. In fact, my daughter Miray attends school with me each day here, as I am very happy that she can benefit from the high-quality early learning education at Children Central.
I am excited to teach new things each day to the children in the Toddler classroom. My method is to both educate and entertain. I love engaging our little ones in fun learning activities, such as reading books and stories, teaching colors, shapes, numbers, singing, dancing, arts and crafts, and sensory play. It is important to provide loving care for children within a fun and enriched environment, while making sure to meet developmental and educational goals for each child.
When not working, I like spending time with family and friends. I especially enjoy cooking and swimming.
I am an enthusiastic and responsible person and look forward to teaching the children in the Toddler classroom and getting to know everyone!
