Meet Miss Jolie!
Hi! I am Miss Jolie. I have been teaching for 33 years. I started teaching at Children Central in 2009, where I have taught in both the Infant and Toddler classrooms. I was very happy to become the Lead Teacher in the Infant room. My love and passion for children, especially infants and toddlers, has made me into the well rounded teacher that I am today. Having the experience in both classrooms helps to make sure that we prepare the children well in the Infant Room to be ready to graduate to the Toddler classroom.
Children Central has provided me with an environment where I can nurture and continue to grow professionally and provide the love that is essential for the children who are in my care. Working at Children Central gave me the initiative to pursue my CDA (Child Development Associates) credential, which I obtained in February 2011.
In addition to my professional profile, personally, I am a mother of two wonderful children, Derek and Megan, as well as a wife to my husband Dave, to whom I have been married for 31 years. I love spending time with my family and friends because they are the daily love and support in my life. Moreover, my family and I love to travel. We enjoy quality family time together. Camping and spending a day at the beach is what we enjoy most. Some favorite pastimes of mine are reading, jigsaw puzzles and shopping.
I have gained many positive and fulfilling experiences here at Children Central because it is a family owned business with excellent and high standards, as well as an experienced staff. The relationships I have built here will last a lifetime.
Meet Miss Sarkul!
My name is Ms. Ali and I started teaching in the Infant Room at Children Central in January 2014. I am very happy to be part of this high quality teaching staff where I can offer caring, energetic, and positive help to our children. I love taking care of children and have a passion for helping them succeed. I raised my three children and currently enjoy taking care of my three grandchildren in my spare time. I just love taking care of our babies in the Infant Room each day!
Before I joined Children Central, my love and passion for children guided me to volunteer at a child care center for seven months. I then worked for five months at a public Elementary School in Northeast Philadelphia where I assisted with the kindergarten class to help the students.
Working at Children Central gave me the initiative to pursue my CDA (Child Development Associates) credential. I have previously earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. I worked as an Electrical Engineer and was head of the department of planning at a woman’s clothing factory for eight years. I also was an Electronics Engineering Technician at a company in Philadelphia for twelve consecutive years. Eager to learn, I am currently a student at the Community College of Philadelphia, studying to obtain a Network and Systems Administration Proficiency Certificate.
I have been married for 34 years to my husband Rasheed. My husband and I share taking care of our beautiful family and raising our children and grandchildren to have good manners and dignity. I have a lot of expertise in the home especially when it comes to cooking, which is my favorite hobby. I love to prepare the most delicious and healthy meals for my family members. I also enjoy designing and sewing.
I am positive that being a teacher at Children Central is another successful accomplishment for me, and another chapter to add to those that I have achieved throughout my career.
Meet Miss Vicky !
Hi! My name is Miss Vicky. I am so happy and excited to be a part of the Children Central family. Having started in September 2022, you may have found me assisting in any of the classrooms from Infant to Pre-K, as I love spending time with children of all ages. Recently, I became a full-time teacher in the Infant room and truly enjoy the experience!
I am a mother of two boys, a 5-year-old and a 13-year-old, named Liam and Eason, respectively. (Yes, they sound like the famous actor Liam Neeson, and that is how I tell people to remember their name). I graduated from Northeastern University with a BS degree in Leadership and Business. I also possess a Certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (CTCSOL), which is an international standardized test to assess candidates as Chinese language teachers internationally.
My family and I moved back to the United States two years ago from Singapore due to my husband’s job. We are incredibly happy with our new home here in Langhorne. We have neighbors with young kids, and I get along very well with them. I love being with children, playing with them and taking care of them. I will treat your children as my own because every child is a precious gift. One fun fact about me is that I am currently a singer of a musical band Peace Jam serving Parkland Church. Singing is my favorite hobby!
I am so thankful that Children Central gave me the opportunity to work with young children. I always look forward to meeting the children and their families at Children Central!
