Hello! My name is Miss Amanda, and I am thrilled to join the Children Central family as the Lead Teacher in the Preschool classroom. I am truly looking forward to witnessing the growth of these wonderful children and being a meaningful part of their learning journey!
A little about me: I am a proud mother of a blended family, and we are excitedly expecting our seventh child in May 2026! After several fulfilling years as a stay-at-home mom, I am eager to return to my professional passion—teaching. While I hold a degree in Medical Assisting and spent years in the medical field, my heart has always been in the classroom. I previously taught in a three-year-old classroom and assisted with Pre-K instruction, and I am now furthering my expertise through ongoing studies in Early Childhood Education.
I have lived in the Levittown area my entire life and am a proud graduate of Pennsbury High School. In my free time, you can find me baking, gardening, crafting, or simply enjoying the outdoors with my children. I am so excited to begin this journey at Children Central and look forward to building strong partnerships with all of our families!
My name is Mrs. Ali and I first joined Children Central as a teacher in the Infant Room in January, 2014. I am very happy to be part of our high quality teaching staff where I can offer caring, energetic, and positive help and guidance to the children. I love taking care of children and have a passion for helping them succeed. Since March, 2024, I became a teacher in the Preschool classroom. I have really enjoyed the newfound experiences with this older age group!
Before I joined Children Central, my love and passion for children guided me to volunteer at a child care center. I then worked at a public Elementary School in Northeast Philadelphia where I assisted with the kindergarten class. Working at Children Central gave me the initiative to pursue my CDA (Child Development Associates) credential! I have previously earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. I worked as an Electrical Engineer and was head of the department of planning at a woman’s clothing factory for eight years. I also was an Electronics Engineering Technician at a company in Philadelphia for twelve consecutive years.
I have been married for 34 years to my husband Rasheed. My husband and I share taking care of our beautiful family and raising our children and grandchildren to have good manners and dignity. I have a lot of expertise in the home especially when it comes to cooking, which is my favorite hobby. I love to prepare the most delicious and healthy meals for my family members. I also enjoy designing and sewing. I raised my three children and currently enjoy taking care of my three grandchildren whenever I have the opportunity.
I am positive that being a teacher at Children Central is another successful accomplishment for me, and another chapter to add to those that I have achieved throughout my career.
