Hello, my name is Mrs. Chrissy. I became a teacher at Children Central starting in September, 2023. It was a pleasure helping young minds grow at Children Central during my first school year. I am super excited about my next adventure after having been promoted to Lead Teacher for the Twaddlers, just in time for the summer fun of 2024!
A little about myself. I was born and raised in the local area most of my life, except for living in Atlanta, Georgia for 7 years. I live with my two daughters 11 & 9, husband, and a pet turtle. I enjoy cooking, fishing, kayaking, the ocean, and anything Disney.
For over 20 years, I have enjoyed teaching in the early education field as I take pride in becoming a part of helping young minds grow. In 2018 I earned an Associate degree in the Art of Early Education from Ashford University. In the future, I would like to continue my education and earn a Bachelor’s degree in early education. Every child learns in their own special way, and I believe in creating an environment that will expand each child’s mind. My goal is to create a positive, caring environment for both my students and their families.

Hello, my name is Miss Autumn! I joined Children Central in May 2024, and I am very excited to be part of the team! I am thrilled to have the opportunut to teach in the Twaddlers classroom. My expectations for the classroom include indulgent play time, learning daily schedules and guiding the children to create fun crafts! I cannot wait to get to know your children and their bright personalities!
My experience in childcare includes two years’ experience in child care centers teaching in classrooms for a wide range of ages and one year of nannying and babysitting. I have always gravitated towards childcare since I was young. I have great empathy and a need to care for the little ones! I plan on bringing an inclusive style of teaching to Children Central where everyone is acknowledged and appreciated.
A bit about myself; I was born in Philadelphia, PA but moved to Newark, DE when I was 2 years old. I lived in Delaware for 12 years and moved back to PA in 2016. After graduating high school, I went to cosmetology school and earned my license in May 2023. I enjoy doing hair in my free time, along with video gaming, journaling, and exploring new adventures with my friends and peers!
