Meet Miss Taryn!

Hi! My name is Miss Taryn. I joined Children Central in July, 2021.  I currently enjoy being the Lead Teacher in the Toddler classroom for our one-year-olds!   My goal is always to teach the children in a fun, entertaining and nurturing environment to have the class well prepared to graduate to Toddler Two, the next class at Children Central.

While attending Pennsbury High School, I participated in two child development courses, which enabled me to teach in a childcare setting. It was in these programs that I discovered my passion for teaching. I am excited to put all I have learned to good use. Contributing to a child’s development and education is extremely rewarding and I take pride in the opportunity to do so.

I have started to pursue an associate degree in early childhood education and will soon be pursuing a CDA credential as well. In the future I also plan to earn a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education.

I hope to create a positive experience and environment that encourages the children in my classroom to want to learn and be excited to come to school every day. I believe in active learning that keeps the children engaged while also allowing them to be creative. I also like to incorporate social and emotional skills such as manners, self-confidence, and respect for others. Most importantly, I look forward to providing the children with the same care I give to my baby boy.

When I am not teaching, you can find me enjoying time with my family. My husband, Raymond and I welcomed our first baby, also named Raymond, in June of 2022! We also have a dog named Maci. We spend our free time dining at local restaurants, traveling when we can, and just spending quality time at home.  (We love a game night!)

Meet Miss Sierra!

Hi! My name is Miss Sierra. As of August, 2024 I became an Assistant Toddler Teacher. I recently moved to the area from Philadelphia and I love it here so far. My overall goal in the Toddler classroom is to provide the children with care and love while also keeping them engaged in learning. You may also find me assisting in the other classrooms, as I would like to gain experience with all of the classrooms, learn from my fellow teachers, and get familiar with every child at Children Central.

I attended West Chester University for a year where I was pursuing a degree in Special Education but have taken a break to continue teaching full-time. Before teaching at Children Central, I taught in an early Head Start class located in Philadelphia caring for children who ranged in age from 6 weeks to 3 years old.

In my free time I love to explore nature, hang out with my friends and spend time with my family. I also enjoy being outside in my backyard with my two dogs at home. I look forward to being the best teacher that I can be for your children!

Meet Miss Raven!

Hello! My name is Miss Raven and I joined Children Central in August, 2024. I am so excited to be a Toddler Assistant Teacher! I look  forward to building relationships with all of the children and their families!

Before teaching at Children Central, I began my childcare career babysitting during my high school years for my family. In 2022, I started working at a local childcare center that offered before and after care, along with a camp option in the summertime. This position confirmed for me that I enjoy teaching, taking care of children, and establishing relationships with families.

I plan to pursue early childhood education to make teaching my lifetime career. I am currently a sophomore at Bucks County Community College and majoring in Pre K-4 Early Childhood Education.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time with my friends and family, and gardening.

I look forward to meeting all of the families of the Toddlers classroom and to teaching your children.
