Hello! My name is Miss Madison, or as the children may call me ‘Miss Madi.’ I am so happy for the opportunity to be a Twaddler teacher for the two to three year old children. This is a very fun age group, as the children are eager to learn and so full of curiosity. I love how excited a child gets when learning a new concept – no matter how large or small.
I knew I wanted to work with children after years of babysitting my cousins and the children of other families. In addition to being a teacher, I am also a college student at Bucks County Community College studying Psychology. I plan to incorporate aspects of psychology into the Twaddler classroom, since these older toddler years are very important for their emotional development. For example, teaching the children how to identify and verbalize their emotions helps them to better express themselves and avoid frustration. My goal is to ensure the classroom is a safe space and happy environment where learning is fun for all of the children. I plan to teach the skills necessary for a successful transition to the Preschool class. Together with my fellow teachers in the Twaddler classroom, we will teach a broad range of topics including the alphabet, animals, colors, months, shapes, and songs all in a very fun way!
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy being outdoors, especially at the beach or at the park with my pets. I have two dogs, one who is a newly adopted puppy and a kitten.
I look forward to teaching at Children Central and working closely with your child!
