Hello Twaddler families! My name is Miss Kelsey and I am so excited to get to know you and your little ones.
I have been working with children since 2010 and I absolutely love it! I previously was as an ABA Therapist (Applied Behavior Analysis), having worked with adults with disabilities. I created and implemented individual habilitation goals and behavior plans which lead me down the path of becoming a behavioral therapist. My first job with children was through my church babysitting for families, as well as taking turns managing the daycare while service was in session. I have experience with children with Autism as well as children with ADHD, and I have basic knowledge of American Sign Language.
I am currently in the process of becoming a registered behavior therapist. I also plan to soon earn my CDA (Child Development Associate) as well. My favorite way to teach is through natural environment teaching and sensory play. I love incorporating fun and unique ways to get the children excited about learning. I am a motivated educator that enjoys teaching children new skills in fun and creative ways. I like to introduce sensory play to expand creativity.
My husband and I moved to Pennsylvania three years ago and it’s definitely a place we would like to make our forever home. When not taking care of little ones, I’m either a busy bee in the kitchen baking up sweet treats for my bakery, or lounging around snuggled up with a book.
I look forward to helping prepare your Twaddler child for the Preschool class, and getting to know all of the families!
