Hello Toddler Two families! My name is Miss Amanda and I joined the Children Central team in October, 2017. I am happy to say that I am very excited to return as the Lead Teacher in Toddler Two for your child after being out for maternity leave.
I have earned my Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Pre-K to 4 from Bucks County Community College in 2014. I am studying to earn a Bachelor’s in Special/Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University. I am also working on obtaining my TEFL certification, which will teach me skills used for ESL students. I have always known that I love working with children of all ages. When I was younger, I enjoyed babysitting. While earning my Education degree, I did part of my fieldwork at Goodnoe Elementary School. During my time there, I formed a close connection with the children that made me absolutely certain that teaching children was something I wanted to do for my career.
I have two children and both attend Children Central. My daughter Emma is four years old and is in the Pre-K class; my son Ryder is in the Infant Room. My children are my whole life, as I would do anything for them. I look forward to meeting everyone again and to welcoming the new families to the Toddler Two classroom.
