Meet Miss Krystal!
Hi! My name is Ms. Krystal and I have been teaching at Children Central since July of 2021, but I have been teaching Pre-Kindergarten for over 9 years now and I absolutely love it!
Pre-K is my favorite age group because the children are so curious and love learning. I also love watching them turn into such independent little grownups throughout the school year. I hope to bring some new and exciting activities into the classroom to help your children get “Kindergarten ready” and have lots of fun while doing it.
I am currently taking classes to earn my CDA (Child Development Associates) credential, as I eventually plan to return to school to complete my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
When I am not teaching, you may find me spending time with my boyfriend and friends or rooting on my favorite sports teams (the Eagles and Phillies). I have 3 cats named Theo, Ginger, and Millie. I absolutely love Dunkin iced coffee and home renovation shows. Some of my weekends are spent as a server at a local restaurant that I have been working at for approximately 10 years.
I am so excited to be your child’s Pre-K teacher and cannot wait to help them learn and grow throughout the school year! Together we have so many adventures, learn a whole lot, and make great memories while getting the children ready for kindergarten.
Meet Miss Carissa !
Hi! My name is Miss Carissa. I joined Children Central in January 2022. I am attending Bucks County Community College and will soon complete my Associate’s degree in Pre-K to fourth grade. I have experience with age groups ranging from Infant through Preschool, as I thoroughly enjoy teaching the Pre-K class!
I previously taught for approximately two years at a local childcare center. It brings me so much joy to instruct students and implement the curriculum and weekly lesson plans. I cannot wait to teach the children and to help them learn something new each day at school, as we prepare the class for kindergarten. My goal as a teacher is to have my students understand what they are learning and then use that knowledge in real world situations.
When I am not teaching in the classroom or going to school, I enjoy reading various types of books and watching any Disney movie. When I am not buried in a book or watching Monsters Inc., you can find me with my friends making memories to last a lifetime.
I cannot wait to meet everyone at Children Central and I look forward to teaching your children.
