Meet Miss Krystal!
Hi! My name is Ms. Krystal and I have been teaching at Children Central since July of 2021. However, I have been teaching Pre-Kindergarten for over 9 years now and I absolutely love it!
I am the Lead Teacher for the Pre-Kindergarten class. This is my favorite age group because the children are so curious and love learning. I also love watching them turn into such independent little grownups throughout the school year. I hope to bring some new and exciting activities into the classroom to help your children get “Kindergarten ready” and have lots of fun while doing it.
I am currently taking classes to earn my CDA (Child Development Associates) credential, but I eventually plan to return to school to complete my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
When I am not teaching, you may find me spending time with my boyfriend and friends or rooting on my favorite sports teams (the Eagles and Phillies). I have 3 cats named Theo, Ginger, and Millie. I absolutely love Dunkin iced coffee and home renovation shows. Some of my weekends are spent as a server at a local restaurant that I have been working at for almost 10 years.
I am so excited to be your child’s Pre-K teacher and I cannot wait to help them learn and grow throughout the school year! We are going to have so many adventures, learn a whole lot, and make some great memories while getting well prepared for kindergarten.
Meet Miss Sarah!
Hello! My name is Miss Sarah and I am so excited to be joining Children Central as a Pre-Kindergarten teacher, as of September 2022!
I attended Susquehanna University where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, and though I have a passion for music, I knew that I wanted to be a teacher since I was young! For many summers, I worked as an assistant music teacher at St. Luke’s Episcopal church for their summer music camp, and I fell in love with working with all of the young students and teaching them different skills. I believe music can be such a wonderful addition to any classroom and teaches skills that will apply in many academics. I love being able to watch students learn and grow from the knowledge that you give them, and it gives me joy when they succeed and have fun doing it!
When I am not teaching, I love to read, bake cookies, and do almost any type of craft such as painting or sewing! I have a deep love for animals as well, and I have an adorable Tuxedo cat named Azula, and three exotic tree frogs!
I cannot wait to have an amazing year at Children Central to prepare the children well for kindergarten. I look forward to teaching my students to be confident, kind, and to add a touch of musical fun in the classroom whenever possible!
